UAE Businessman: The Richest Billionaires Listed
United Arab Emirates is known to be one of the richest and most productive countries in the whole world and where most of the richest businessmen are making great success in their investments or companies they either owned or managed.
These businessmen have either more or less increased or decreased in their assets from the businesses they have owned or managed over the year. From the latest survey conducted by Forbes in 2018 about the richest billionaires there are seven businessmen in the United Arab Emirates that are listed among the billionaires in the whole world and this changes every year. Among the seven that are listed in 2018, there are about two new billionaires that made it to the top seven in UAE that is included in the world’s rank too, while the other five remained in competition with each other.
This is rated according to their net worth through the increase in their financial and business and other mega assets ranging from malls, banks and other financial institutions as well as hospitals. Though it is known that some business in the UAE like banking and automobile services have lowered in profit from the whole year assessment and those that are in healthcare, money exchange and properties have shown a continued increase and growth in their profits thus contributing to increased in assets as well.
This year’s top on the list among the seven of the richest billionaires in UAE is Abdulla bin Ahmad Al Ghurair with a diversified business who ranked second from last years list, with a net worth of $5.9 billion that somehow dropped from last year’s $6.8 billion. The second on the list is Abdulla Al Ghurair who is on real estate and retail business with a net worth of $4.6 billion, where he was on the first spot last year with $10.6 billion net worth. The third richest billionaire in UAE is Abdulla Al Futtaim who is an auto dealership and other investments that maintained his third rank with this year’s net worth of $3.3 billion that dropped from $4.1 billion as of last year. Some non-resident Indians doing business in the United Arab Emirates have also made it to the ranking as among the richest businessmen in the country that have competed among the many.
It is not a surprise that these people have great influence in the business industry especially in UAE, and their success stories can be found in many storylines especially with Forbes as they have been constantly taking the world in awe with their continued success that brought them to be one of the richest billionaires in the whole world.
